I have read a lot of post that eplain how to rebuild an ISO. I can understand why this is important if you are using HDAdvanced and trying to save room on your Hard Drive. Or if you can reduce the file size so that the ISO fits on a single layer DVD. Why else is it necessary to rebuild the ISO? My backups of Starwars Battlefront and Mercenaries work perfect without any modification. Thanks for any input.

Mercenaries does not work without modification, as it will crash at one of the loading screens. You need to either
1) rebuild the iso and use CDVDgen to rebuild it
2) use that DRK-MRC.exe program
3) obtain an already rebuilt version of the game

I have backed up Mercenaries and have played it for a few hours with no problems.

So did I. All the characters playable and also i've played the first mission and i was able to save the game. Rebuilding is just a way to ensure the game will run. if the game wasn't running already, rebuilding won't help. I said this b/c i rebuilt Bloodrayne2 3 times just like instructed but the game HAVEN"T BOOTED yet.
