i am thinking of getting verbatim 2.4x and hope to have those work. i heard goods and bads about Ritek go4/go5, plus i dont know if they make them for DVD+R becuase that is what i need, and the Verbatims have the +R. so if anyone can tell me what they think that would be cool.I first started off with my memorex 8x but all that i got on my ps2 was lag, so hopefully i can get some help.

misc. info about my stuff:
v12 ps2, hp 2.4x, 4x drive, and swapmagic 3.6

what i am thinking of getting:
http://www.verbatim.com/products/product_detail.cfm?product_id=F3614723-534A-4E87-A1FE5B3133E6CB1D&pc_parent=1DC9DF5C-C0D4-4AEC-BE4352D34D71B4EB

any info on where to buy these cheap would be nice, but i dont want cr@p, i want the authentic verbatims.

thanks , and have a nice day ;)

I get mine at Best Buy locally in my area.
verbatim 8x +r (MCC) Last time i got a 50pk on sale for 19.99
I also get Fujifilm (YUDEN) there if they are on sale too.
(they work just as good as verbatim's for ps2 games)

These are the ones I use for ps2 backups.

Good luck :)

I always use either Verbatim or fujifilm.
I would not trust using 'generic' media.

@nycaznk3v FOR NUMBER ONE.(The first link)
If they send you whats in the picture they would be quality MCC.
The second link looks like an older 'outsourced product'.
I would go with the first one if your GUARANTEED there going to send
you what is in the picture.
(I dont buy off of the net because there are a lot of FAKES going around)

Also i found my 'newer; ps2 like +r media over -r.
But if your using an older ps2 stick with the -r.
