The gif for your sig is suppose to be just a little add on type picture. Some of you guys have one big enough to set as wall paper. I'm not trying to Mod this thread or anything like that but some common sense should be used when picking a gif. The bigger the gif the longer it will take for pages to load. I have broadband at home and at work so it doesn't effect me. I feel sorry for the members on dial-up. Just keep that in mind when picking a gif.

when this thread was started, there was a size limit... And it was my signature. My siggy was used as a guide to how big it can be.

the horizontal/vertial size isn't all that matters, but also how detailed the image is or if it's animated. i've seen some little bitty animated ones that take forever to load and annoy the hell outta me.
