when iv have burnt a dvd using nero vision express 3 or nero rom the dvd freeze when watch on teley through a dvd player iv have tryed better quality disc but still the same problem it also jumps to about 10mins forward any help would be gratefull many thanks to all who make us novices still have hope. [comp pentium 4 2.6ghz]

Try burning it at a lower speed (1x).
Try compressing it a little more so it doesn't burn all the way to the edge of the disk.
Do you use the computer when its burning? Don't.

Have you had other successful burns play in your DVD? (ie. Its not your DVD thats a problem.)

many thanks for your reply
overnight the burn process so no use the comp,the lowest i can burn i always is 2x, i have burnt films where they have been ok ie back ups tried diff media still the same nero6 programe is my own with all up dates, i burn via Nero express3 everyone seems to burn via Nero rom can any one tell me why many thanks

Nero has several different ways to do the same task. I have used nerovision and burning rom and haven't seen a difference in quality or playback issues.
What media are you using? I think that is the probably cause especially if no multitasking and you have a low burn speed.
Nero also has a info tool to tell you the manufacture of the disc.

binkie many thanks for the info about Nero media is premium grade orange disc and made in taiwan brought riteck but reading scubapete info they should be wrote on the disc but when opened the case they was just white faced many thanks again i shall just perciever
