Downloaded dvd decrypter and shrink, when I go to shrink I get a message saying"dvd shrink encountered an errorand cannot continue failed to read file"d:/" the drive cannot find the sector requested". What is wrong? can anyone help please, thanks Oraque

could be a copy protection thing. Try to rip the movie with Decrypter first. Guides are available, check the links in my sig.

Thanks Squizzle have tried different dvds,different blank discs, have been at it all day. I get the ripped part but then when I go to shrink open disc...ok then I get the message. Imust be doing something wrong, I have the printed guide in front of me so I am at a loss now, thanks anyway Oraque

If you rip the movie with Decrypter in File mode (do you have VOB files?) then you should click Open Files in DVD Shrink, then find the folder. If you ripped the movie in ISO mode in Decrypter, then in Shrink click File, Open Image File and find your ISO or MDS file. The Open Disc button is used when you're not ripping first.
