Hi,

Anyone know if there are any patches out for GT4 yet, making you able to burn gt4 to a single layered dvd 5 dvd-r 4.7 gb disc... I can only find HD loader patches and others for dual layered... Can some one help...

Nope. Just burnt it onto a dual layer and apply the toxic patch

I think it will be a while longer before we get a gt4 backup to fit on a 4.7gb disc. The dual layer process works fine just read the official thread near the last few pages you will find out what to do.

As i've said in GT4 Burning Issues the key to getting this baby to work on dvd5 is to get the .vol files extracted. Most believe however that these are encrypted so we've yet to accomplish this. Once we get this done we can get down to the business of downsampling FMV clips etc which will hopefully get things resolved as far as dvd5 is concerned.
