I appologize in advance if this is the wrong area for my question.

I have a Sony Vaio.

Ihave been using the DVGate Program to edit Mpegs of movies and shows I've downloaded from TV.

I am not making DVD's, I am simply storing the Mpegs on hard drives.

The movies download in fine and the Mpeg playback is perfect but when I try to edit out unwanted material with DVGATE and send the MPEG through it comes out with Sync issues. I've never had this problem before.

In the last week I've noticed that there are bad sync issues after about an hour or so into the movie. By the end of the mpeg the sound is about 6 to 10 seconds early.

What's wrong all of a sudden?
