Has anyone had this problem?
i'm burning mpeg's with NERO to VCD format, they play perfectly in my CD ROM, but place them in the DVD player in the lounge room and they play as Black & White.
Yea, I know. I implemented few thingies to forum code and apparently broke it once again :-) I just _don't_ want to end up using other peoples' forum system, it's more satisfying to develop my own :-)
So, the VCD is actually in NTSC format? Try to find out if your DVD has some extra settings, most of the players can be tweaked to play NTSC clips correctly.
the burn with NERO im doing is no faster than 4X and was in NTSC the 1st few times, i get a perfect picture on the TV, it's just that it's in Black and white, if i nominate the burn the file as PAL, it now ends up with huge square blocks, unwatchable
I am trying to create a v-cd with Nero and am trying to utilize .avi files that were created using Premiere. The files are pretty large and I am getting a Not enough memory message. The machine has 512MB and planty of disk space. I don't think the problem is memory. When I try to burn files that have been "cleaned" with ex cleaner. I don't get the message, but they also fail too. Does any one have nay idea what's going on? Thanks.
Don't _ever_ use Nero's encoding, it simply sucks. Use TMPGEnc to encode your AVIs into VCD format and to split the files into 700MB or so chunks and burn those with Nero.
