Just format your ms with psp then necessary folders are created for photos and music. For videos you'll have to create correct folders yourself like this psp:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 and they must be written in capitals. If you compress videos with rapiz encoder or pspvideo 9 they create folders automatically.

ok, just thought I should at least defend some game stores. I work at EB Games in California, and I know I don't know everything, but at least I know enough to help my customers. and btw, if employees knew everything about the hardware, and software of the game consoles, I don't think that they would be working at a game retail store. And about that whole emulator thing, it's most definatly a fake, and whoever says it accually works, I would like to have a link to a program that accually works, cause I haven't found one yet.

try this method to use these three games coded arms puzzle bobble and lumines.

I?ll just explain it once so listen:
DO MAKE SURE TO PAY EXTREME ATTENTION TO SPELLING, IT IS ESSENTIAL!!!
1. Download the tri loader.zip from this site.
2. Have (and this is very important) a working copy of the game you want to play. I?ll use Coded Arms for this mini-tutorial.
3. Depending on how you were able to find your working .iso file for coded arms, you?ll have to unstuff its contents. The best way for me is by using isobuster. You can download version 1.8 of isobuster on CNET. Now open up isobuster and choose the coded arms .iso from ?open image file? and then extract the content to your computer. When that process is done, you should have a file with a folder inside called ?PSP_GAME?.
4. Take that folder, without messing with anything, and place it in your PSP memory stick, putting the ?PSP_GAME? folder right NEXT to your regular ?PSP? and ?MP_ROOT? folder, not anywhere inside any of those two folders. Rename the ?PSP_GAME? folder to ?CODEDARM.?
5. Now, open that tri loader.zip file and you should find four files in there and a read me file. Take the ?CODEDARM? folder in that zip file and place it in your memory stick, allowing it to write over the original ?CODEDARM? folder already installed on your PSP. It will automatically re-write only the BOOT.BIN file in the ?SYSDIR? folder. Re-writing that file eliminates the need to patch that file manually, it?s already patched.
6. Now, go back to your tri loader folder and open the ?PSP? folder. A ?GAME? folder will open up, get in there and you?ll find the files you need. They are the ?CODEDA~1%? folder and the ?CODEDAR 1? folder.
7. Access your PSP memory stick and go into the ?PSP? folder and then open the ?GAME? folder. Stick both the ?CODEDA~1%? and the ?CODEDAR 1? folders in there.
8. Re-name the ?CODEDA~1%? to ?CODEDAR%? and the ?CODEDAR 1? folder to just ?CODEDAR?.
9. Make sure that you have the Wipeout UMD disc inside the PSP, disconnect from USB and go to your Memory Stick folder on your PSP and you should find the Coded Arms program selectable on the menu. Press ?X? to open it and, unless you didn?t follow my tutorial word-for-word, you?ll be playing Coded Arms.
The reason lots of people have been having trouble with the loaders is because the tri loader zip files have lots of typos where they shouldn?t be. Even a letter wrong means you won?t be playing the game.
For the other games, just make sure that the folders with the % and without the % share the same exact name, letter for letter.
I hope this helped. Sorry for going into so much detail, but some people still don?t have a firm grasp of where all the files should to to get a program running on the PSP.

Thanks a lot, I'll try it tonight when I'm home (and find a coded arms iso). Dont apologize for the level of detail, I speak for many when I say we appreciate it!

you really dont need to go that in-depth. Simply extract the iso. extract the loader. rename the iso folder (usually PSP_GAME) to whatever the readme on the loader says. drop the renamed iso folder on the main part of your PSP memory stick. Place the 2 folders from the extracted loader in PSP/GAME.

here is a site with all the current loaders: http://hroo772.hopto.org:8181/psp-launchers/

dont know who to thank on that one...

OK, cool, I got it. I couldnt follow the directions above but I was lucky enough to find a torrent that put everything where it should be. That Coded Arms game is pretty cool, what I dont understand is how the game fits on a stick, the UMD is 1.8 GB but this game only takes about 200MB on my stick...is a lot cut from the game?

Anyone know if we'll be able to do any of this ourselves with other games, I have some other good games in ISO that I'd love to try out.

if anyone wants to know the torrent was called 'MS', it basically put everything in the folders it should be, very very simple. It had a few games, I didnt bother with the puzzle-type games though (Lumines, Puzzle-Bobble..) I found it doing a search for 'coded arms psp' on one of the torrent search engines, dont know which...

From what I looked at a lot of the files are dummy. Also some of the games are simply not large enough to fit on a full disk.

I don't know a lot about the psp but, I just came back from Thailand and played a psp with a 1 gig memory stick that had 6 different games on it. There was no umd disk in the player because I checked it. I was hoping someone here would know how he did this. I ended up buying some games to copy but I am unable to do so at this point. I might have to go back and have hime do it for me and show me how. He briefly explained it to me but, I obviously have forgotten something. Once I find out I will post it here for you guys. Unless someone already knows how to do it?
Thanks
