Burn avi in Nero?

Please help a beginner at this. How do I burn an .avi to a dvd? Is it possible in Nero. I`we got the avi file + srt file.

divx2dvd is free, simple to use and pretty quick.

yes can use Nero but I haven't personally succeeded with that software. I like DVDSanta and if you know your sources you should be able to find the full verison somewhere.

You can convert it in Nero but make sure the audio is uncompressed or you will end up with sync problems. I know you're using subs but it's still annoying.

hi all

use FILM MACHINE !!! this baby will rock your socks! its the dogs b*ll*cks, and its free!!!

i use it with CCE SP 270 which isnt free but it has a good free encoder built in!

hey Rotary, I use the CCE/RB combo and I have CCE Basic 2.70. I'm trying to link FilmMachine to CCE but it doesn't see my CCE exe file as being valid. cct2.exe is the file I have. Can you shed some light on this?

i use v270.01.05 and the file is:

cctspt.exe

CCE SP

is your a trial version???? whats the error?

ahhh...you're using SP (retail version?) and I'm using Basic. I don't get an error, it just doesn't allow me to select the CCE Basic exe file. Is that what it is? I need SP to be able to use it?

I haven't tried a full clip yet, but I got one started, then I cancelled. I will try it tonight though and let you know.
