ok, i downloaded tekken 5 echelon relase from a newsgroup. i unrarer, got the iso, and burned with dvd decryptor, nothing odd here, all standard precedure. loaded it up in my v4 ps2 with a dms3 chip, it got to the namco screen, got to the mini game where it says loading and you fly in a ship shooting stuff. said press start, i pressed start, but nothing but a black screen. thought maybe i was using crappy media, so i reburned with ritek go4, same thing, ok, tried rebuilding, burned, this time it jus froze on namco screen. can anyone help me? will be grealy appreciated

There is a patch for Tekken 5. However I think it is only for Swapmagic disks. You could try it anyway as in the info file for the patch it says it stops the game crashing. Worth a shot

couldnt find it on swapmagicfic.com, went to ps2nfo, and i think they removed that download, so i dont know where to get it now. any help appreciated.

It is most likely just a bad copy of the game. I backed it up off an original disc and it works fine.

i finally got it to work, dont think it wa sa bad copy, jus needed to flash my dms3 chip to the latest beta firmware, and fixed it. man, wated so mnay discs burning it tho, and all of em prob worked too, ah well.
