For a few weeks I was having trouble with movies freezing up in a few spots and not playing consistently.
I picked up a pack of BenQ 8x DVD-R
Manufacturer ID: FUJIFILM03

I just backed up a movie, seemed to work fine, watched almost all of it.

Just wondering if anyone has had some problems with this media?

I bought Fuji 8X DVD-R with ID FUJIFILM03. Worked perfectly in NEC and Pioneer burners. Not one coaster!

ditto what StanH1000 said, no problems with this media and it has a good reputation here at AD.

double ditto~ :)

while i have only used less than 10 of these with that particular manufacturer code, they seem to be just fine. i actually tried it w/ both my pioneer and nec just to test them out, not bad at all :P

i was given these from a friend who wanted me to "analyze" them, so, i did...and they ok on my setup. i personally stick w/ TY and Verbs from my sig, but, these are decent media~

good luck to you

I have used about 200 since summer 2004. I only notice that you should not burn to close to thew edge or you get that freeze problem you talk about. Set your DVD target size to 4300. I found that helped and no more freezing. And dont burn faster then 4X.

A slow burn is a good burn.
