Two questions, actually.
XCopy Platinum 3.2.1 has many "greyed out" fields. Before 321 died, I called to ask how to activate these features (such as burn from files already on my computer). The rep just said that they hadn't gotten around to activating the features. I'd be notified when 321 was darn good and ready! Guess I'm out of luck with any updates now?
The second question involves a very recent problem with the program. My dvd writer died (Ten days after the one year Best Buy warranty expired, naturally) and I replaced it with one of the new Sony dual layer writers. Now when I go to make a backup of a movie, the program rips the movie to my default directory but X Copy doesn't recognise the dual layer media in my burner! The process is stalled at that point!
Any help will be sincerely appreciated.

3.2.1 is a really old version. Last versions that came out are v4.0.3.8 and v4.0.4.15RF

The only version which allows browsing for video_ts files on your HD are the RF versions. So for Platinum V4.0.4.15RF

support for dual layer was never added.

Do what most have done. Use Shrink and Decrypter.

And, wrong forum. All XCopy questions are suppose to be posted in the XCopy forum
