I had the same problem with a Pioneer DVR-106D, but it was fixed after Windows did an automatic disk verification on startup. I think it is chkdsk that it runs. Perhaps that will help.

I found the problem with both some CDs and DVDs and it turned out there were bad blocks in the files to be burned from the hard disk. DVDdecrypter has a test option in burning, that has helped me to no burn so many coasters.

Nero's message is not very descriptive but seems to refer to corrupted file or data.

I hope this helps somewhat.
