Sure, back to topic. Since you just volunteered to restart the conversation, Liez4Love, why don't you PROVE to us why the title of Xbox 1.5 is valid?

the new name for the Xbox is the Xbox 360 and that's been released by Microsoft so i don't know how u got Xbox 1.5

On another note, it seems (so far rumored) that MS is making a big push to include Co-Op game modes where ever possible for it's games. Will follow up with additional information as I hunt it down...

Xboxfool: I will point out that he/she is referring to Kurtagi's comment that the 360 is really only xbox 1.5, not that it is actually called xbox 1.5.
I think we all know that it is called Xbox360 (hence the name in the thread title) and can assume that he/she was putting down the 360. Now it is up to Liez to prove the point...

the xbox 360 will be hear first it will beat the ps3 just like the ps2 is ahead of xbox the games will hit the 360 first shows over for sony they put an impressive marketing campaign but that shouldnt matter im buying one 6 hardware threads is nuthing to sneeze at

Again, could you provide some logic/proof that backs up your claim other than "it comes out first"?
I will note, that didn't save Sega Saturn or Sega Dreamcast from Sony.

Kutaragi is taking some serious hits at the 360, like calling it 1.5 rather than a 2nd installment. He bases it off of, "This time, Microsoft has stated clearly that it is going after the PlayStation. However, they're going not after the PlayStation 3, but the PlayStation 2. They were looking at 2, and that's why [Xbox 360] became like that."
Hmmm, Kutaragi might be a little off, I doubt MS was trying to compete with the PS2 rather than PS3. DOn't get me wrong, I prefer Sony, but sometimes Kutaragi needs to keep his trap shut and focus on the PS3. Not bringing the competition down verbally, he already did it through hardware (my opinion, you might not agree as already well established, don't start I'm entitled to it).
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

u know that ps3 land usually has the worst info when researching that was the one site i stayed away from go onto www.sony.com they have the spec that r much more reliable.

Doesn't look that way to me. If you look at this whole thread all we have had is childish zealots spouting about which is going to be the best console.
This is a forum that encourages stimulating debate, not kiddies quoting stupid figures, teraflops etc. It means very little in the whole scheme of things. Like the whole AMD v Pentium debate. People are relying on reports in the press, & are trying to make the specs being the be all & end all of the debate. It is mostly pure speculation.
We all know that figures do not really make much difference. I cannot understand why people cannot just wait & see.
The whole debate decended into complete farce resulting in people being banned.
If you cannot take someone making valid remarks about a thread, then you should go to a different forum.
I do not wish to start a flame war here, but your remarks could be construed as such!
Maybe I should have stayed out of the debate, but I cannot watch as people make wild & immature claims about which is best. It is SO infantile.
