Does anybody know why my rom doesn't always play movies? Copied and even some originals.

I had another rom before that would not play copied movies so, I went out and bought a Lite On SOHD 167T.

I've already downloaded the latest firmware and that didn't even help.This rom isn't even listed on Lite On's homepage for firmware updates.

I have a 167T and love it, for the price you cannot beat this drive. You can find firmware update here

arrow down page til you see your drive, firmware update is recent. If you are having a problem, it could be software related, since you state your other drive also did not work.
