Stall.....Forggettaboutit.....I had the same problem...whatta frickin' mess....I just started over....{NEVER USE STICKY LABELS!!!!}..Others might disagree with me but, I'll never use them again....Get a laser printer much better more professional lookin'...or just write the title on the disc...Good Luck...Bandog

I agree trying to remove the label will only cause more problems, and will more than likely damage the disk. One reason you should never use them.

you can also try using Goof Off or Rubbing alcohol but make sure you apply the rubbing alcohol either by cotton ball/cottonswab otherwise you can damage the disc itself.
also, you can try using a blowdryer on its lowest setting and hold it about 8 inches away from the disc, start from the outside moving inward.. Use a doubleedge razor to start peeling the label off.
Good luck! oh yea as stated before : DO NOT use those crap Stick on labels. They tend to eithe unbalance the disc or cause some other problems.. Its just easier to either handwrite the movie title/info or use inkjet type discs.

I found out the hard way also. When I would do the labels they would look great at first and was really proud of my work but over time they now look like waves. I invested in a Casio printer (40 dollars off ebay) best money ever spent. My grandkids think it is really cool how so much more professional their cd's and dvd's )instead of markers) now look and show them off and now their friends have me doing some for them.

You can do more damage to a cd/dvd on the top then the bottom.I wouldn't use a label at all.If you disc is ruined from the label then removing the label is not going to help.I would stick with a marker or get a lite-scribe dvd burner.

A hair dryer and goo be gone worked for me ...... some say to just soak in the goo be gone ..... I used the hair dryer to get as much off as I can then use the goo be gone to get rid of the rest of the glue left behing.

Use "alcohol," yep... that's me. You can find me anywhere at the store i.e. menards, home depot, lowes, any hardware store, or any computer shop/place nearby.

Good Day,
I used to write on DVD's with a Marker & it looked crappy. Now I use Labels but from what I can read it ain't a good idea ! How do you guys do it with a printer ? I have a old HP Inkjet printer Model 812C.
But I;m due to change printer anyways. What shoukd I get to get a professional look ?

You need to buy an Epson R200 or R300 printer if your in North America.
However if you live anywhere else in the world I understand the Canon Prima series of printers will print on CDs & DVDs.
