Hi

I am looking for some software that allows you to superimpose an image or graphic onto each frame in a video file. This graphic would need to be able to be moved around on each frame.

The effect I am looking for is a little like they produce on the TV police shows to cover the number plate on a car in the video.

Does anyone knows of software capable of doing this?

Cheers

Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

There are two versions of After effects , There is "Adobe After Effects 6.5" and there is "Adobe After Effects Pro 6.5" and yes they are both extremely difficult to use but can do remarkable things...

oh okay, yeah I've had pro 6.5 for a while. I've been using AE since the 5.0 days. I was so blown away by what you can do, even with the stock effects. It took me several projects and a few months before I got the hang of it. Kind of a mixture between photoshop and premiere I guess, but about twice as hard.

When you say, "hard", what do you mean? I have been testing different software and they seem to basically do the same thing. Could you please elaborate on this. Thanks.

With "Adobe After Effects Pro 6.5" HARD means that it will take Months to learn the Simple Stuff and Years to master the Program...

It is unlike any other Program in how it works and in it"s workflow...You would have to check it out to see how difficult it is to learn...
I actually was offered a Substantial Raise at work if I could Learn After Effects Pro but I found that it was Far to difficult to learn in the 3 months my Boss gave me to learn it so he had to Hire an extra person who knew after effects ,Combustion and 3D Studio Max....

Yes Vegas 6 is really good...It is the editor I use at home the most often but it doesn"t have much for effects...There are some effects Packages you can get for it Like Boris Graphiti for Vegas and there are some Transition and Filter packages you can also get for vegas...
