DVD .iso creation and burning from individual files, help!

I recently bought a copy of WE8LE, i wanted to patch the file for english menus and then burn a new easier to understand version.
My mate however really wanted to borrow it so i said he could, if he copied the disc to my hard drive.
However, the idiot just clicked and dragged the files within the dvd browser in xp into a folder so now i have the following files;

system.cnf
we8le_op.pss
sound.bin
over.afs
j_sound.afs
j_text.afs
.....etc..........

with all the files from the game. Can you compile an iso from these files using nero 6 or any freeware? What settings do you need to use as well?

yes, but you will need to get the working copy back.
Use ISO buster to open the disc. It will show you the correct file order
Then if you have Nero use the DVD-ROM UDF/ISO feature, drag and drop the files into the program box in the order they appear in ISO buster and burn it. It will reorder the files as you drop them in but don't worry, it will burn them in the order that you originaly dropped them in. You can also use CDVDGEN to create an ISO.
But it is important to burn them in the correct order.
