Hi, im finding it increasingly difficult to find Taiyo Yuden 4x Inkjet Printable media. Is this stuff still manufactured?
There seems to be a plentiful supply of the shiny silver top and the thermal printable Taiyo Yuden 4x media.
I only burn @ 4x anyways so i have absolutely no need for media rated higher than 4x not to mention the higher rated media costs 2 times more.

i've never used an inkjet printable TY 4x before, thanks for pointing that out to me...i didn't even know they manufactured them hahaha...:)
i have no idea what "EOL'd" stands for either, so much to learn, so little time~ :)
yeah, there is not much of a shortage of the 4x dvd-r shiny tops...TYGO1s that i use thousands of...i can always get those anytime from supermediastore and meritline, but your thoughts about the TY 4x inkjet printables would be appreciated...i didn't even know they sold them anywhere, please let me and others know if they have been successful for you~ good luck in finding more...

EOL'd means 'End Of Life'
Im in Australia, this is the TY 4x inkjet Printable media i have been buying.

I was buying in bulk 600 but now this store only has cakes of 100. I shall contact them on Monday to ask what the situation is. I hope we can still get this stuff. I just wish it were Full Hub Printable ;-)

wow, i c what you have been getting down in Australia...selection is quite different up here in the States. well, good luck to you, i hope they can give you a good deal since you want to buy in bulk, sometimes all it takes is a sincere chat w/ a supervisor or someone higher up in the corporate chain to give a loyal returning customer a great deal~
have a good one~ i have yet to see the ones you mentioned here in the states yet~ perhaps im not looking hard enough, but, im a Sharpie guy myself, so, i don't mind writing on my TYGO1s silver shiny that i buy in bulk myself...approx. 1,000 at a time :)
i think we are somewhat similar, just on diff. sides of the globe. perhaps you want to join my lil TY/Verb club~ ONLY FOR EXCESSIVE BUYERS~ only have a few members right now, but, i can always use some support down under hehe :)

yeah Australia is somewhat different like when you flush the toliet the water swrils to the right instead of to the left as here in the states LOL. so if your ever kidnapped you can flush the toliet and know what hemispere your in hehe.

HAHAHHAHHA..i just tested your "theory" aabbccdd, just to see if it was true and my toilet swirls to the right~! maybe i have an "australian toilet?" weird..i live in U.S. too, but, im not sure where my toilet was manufactured~ LOL
i seriously got up and tried it when i read your post...my water comes out on the right hand side of the bowl and swirls to the right (clockwise motion) and then goes down. is that what you meant when you say "swirl to the right?" or does mine swirl to the left and i just got your statement confused? my water goes in a CLOCKWISE motion, is that the same as swirl to the right or is it left? hahhaa..seriously, i would like to know~

southern hemispere goes clockwise northern hemispere goes counterclockwise .its not a theroy its a fact lol . try it again and look closer

i have taken closer inspection and tried it multiple times..mine does in fact SWIRL in a CLOCKWISE direction, i am completely 100% SURE of this. so, with that being said, this FACT is not true in my case...i am in northern hemisphere and i am SURE mine goes clockwise, swirl to the right. :)
sorry for getting off the topic, but, i just wanted to let you know aabbccdd that i have proven this "fact" wrong, maybe my toilet is made in southern hemisphere, who knows~
