there is only one problem with this hole system downgrade and upgrade
1. all new psp titles will come with the new system version 1.52 upgrade in order to run the new games you must install this update or you will not be playing new games anytime soon
2. and if you think about useing the iso loaders to by pass this option have fun all psp's in version 1.52 format send a signal code to other psp's so you cannot go online with your psp...
so in the long run stop trying to do things to your psp you don't need to do

DOWNGRADE FROM VERSION 1.51/1.52
Using this same development kit we have been able to downgrade v1.52 / v1.51 down to v1.50 or even a v1.00 with no problems whatsoever. We can also tell you its easily possible to patch the kernel to be able to boot anything you like without any type of software loader. It can be acheived in both a modchip AND a non-modchip form so no doubt teams like WAB and others will have solutions for you in the coming weeks as the methods to achieve this are indeed known by others - we are simply confirming its very possible. Before anyone makes a rumour - no Xecuter is not doing any form of modchip for the PSP - it will be a waste of time as every patch can be achieved without the need for this. However maybe certain dealers will have capabilities to downgrade your PSP firmware for you - or to repair PSP's damaged by the over zealous hacker - who knows ?

we know, there currently are downgraders for every version but it is a risky move as if you downgrade to 1.00, the psp may become fried(useless). plus, if you downgrade to 1.00, if you play a real psp game umd, you will be forced to upgrade again, leaving you with the only option of using the cool umd loader every time you want to play the game so you wont need to update. and the patching using kxploit only takes 10 seconds or less, does it really make that much of a difference. and finnally, programmers now have realized that much more people have 1.5 firmwares, so from now on they are nearly all going to make there homebrews for the 1.5, then if that became successful, they will try it on 1.00, especially the upcoming "All ISO LOADER", this is claimed as for 1.50 only. all the 1.0 assholes on all the forums websites keep asking if there is a 1.00 version. well i have nothing left to say, i hope this proves that there is no point in downgrading.

Yeah, but you can easily combine those two eboots with pspbrew. So no need to make one for 1.0.

hey guys downgrade possibility simple but i didnt try it yet if you are brave enough to try it go ahead i know "someone" who took the 1.50 firmware update and opened it up with a prog called PBP_EXPLORER changed everything that said 1.50 TO 1.52 save as eboot.pbp and add a LABLE "TITLE_9" line and put "PSP? 업데이트 버전 1.52" as the value and "2" as the type save file and put in mem stick on psp/games/update folder go to mem stick and now it says PSP UPDATER 1.52 when its really 1.50 anyone willing to try outgive some feedback this should trick the psp into upgrading a 1.51 to a 1.50 and maybe a 1.52 if you change everything in pbp explorer to 1.53

i had a thought on my problems. maybe you cna only downgrade one version at a time. so go from 1.52 to 1.51 and so on.

There are currently 2 ways to downgrade. You can try to hardware and possiblly make your PSP a brick (way too involved) or you can run code. If you can run code on a 1.51 or up, then there is no need to downgrade because you can already run code.
So right now the answer is NO. If something becomes available you'll know. Trust me!

oh yeah just a reminder people don't upgrade if you currently have 2.0 or lower versions of firmware such a 1.50 or lower unless you wanna play new psp game's instead of homebrew
