I have some files that I need to burn to DVD. There were in a .bin file, so I used IsoBuster to extract the MPG files. Then I used WinAVI to turn the files into mpg2 files. After using WinAVI to convert the files, I played them back and the audio is off sync. But the original files plays fine. Is this a software related problem? How can I fix this?

With bin/cue files, I usually just use VCDgear to convert them to mpeg. Then I use DivxToDVD to convert mpeg to DVD-VOB files. Finally, I burn the DVD-VOB files with Nero.

ok, I have tried converting an .AVI file to mpg and dvd files and I still have problems. I have tried WinAVI, MainConcept Encoder, and VSO DivX to DVD. And all these programs throw the audio off sync. What could the problem be? I need some help on this bad. lol.

I use VideoRedo (it's not free but the best money I ever spent IMHO) if I have a problem with a/v sync.

I'm sure if you search for free programs you can find something.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply it did.
It will fix the a/v synch and is a damn fine mpeg2 editing program that doesn't re-encode after edits.

Apologies for the confusion.
