Whats best to burn ps2 games on dvd+r or dvd-r???

I'd say +r, however, it really depends on what ps2 version you have.
PS2's that are version 1-4 will normally only play -r discs. However the v4's can sometimes handle +r's as well. Everything v5 and up should be able to play either.

I'd suggest getting a small pack of each, and testing it out first, before committing a bigger chunk of money towards one and finding out that it doesn't work well.

My v7 ps2 does not like +r that much, it will play movies on +r and some games but it is really fussy, as dragulaAC said just give it a test.

I prefer -R all the way on both my V7 and V12 they work great. But the quality of the media use use is the key to success.

i checked and my version is not there model no. is SCPH-30004 and serial# starts with C1.

yeah that number is for a version 4.. my version 12(slim) prefers +R's but my version 7 prefered -R's.. go figure..
