Quick question... i know how to burn dvds... I use copy dvd and dvdshrink and the copies work on my dvd player but the problem is they do not work on all dvd players or any ps2s. my question is what programs do i need so that my dvd copies will work on ps2s and all dvd players???

its probably the media your using. what brand, and + or -r?

your problem lies in the media, don't matter if it's dvd+r or dvd-r, stay away from memorex~ most likely you have CMC MAG media ID codes on them~

just a thought~

while your stand alones and ps2 might have other compatibility probs w/ your burned dvds, your best bet is to begin at the source, get rid of those memorexs, come to the dvd-media forums and do a quick search, i am one of the biggest advocators of good quality media when you want the least amount of problems for playback issues.

someone i know was able to do it with one of my memorex dvds. i dont know how they did it. he said it was the software but i dont know what it was and i havent talked to him in awhile and i cant, so i figured someone would know

someone told me that they had dvdxcopy and burned at a 8x, an his copies work on ps2... i dont wanna buy a program tho...
