Hello,
I am using the newest version of nero trying to simply burn audio cds
from mp3s off of my hard disk. Every time I try to
perform this operation, the burn appears successful. The burned CD shows a list of all the burned tracks with appropriate
song lenghts, however, no audio can be heard through any medium thereafter from the burned CD. Whether it be the computer
or a CD player, the device will go through the songs from the burned CD
but no audio can be heard. Please help! Why is it doing this
and what am I doing wrong?
thanks
dan

Hello Geestar, you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about nero, so can you help me out maybe,,, I have nero Ultra edition, newest update, and when I go to Re-code a file to Mpeg4, from the startsmart menu, it just bounces me right back to the startsmart menu,, I have contacted Nero.com, but of course they haven't gotten back to me,,, so your help would be most appreciated...
also, when I go to play an Mpeg4 with nero showtime,, I get this annoying message that I have to get Nero Ultra edition,, or a retail version,,, I have Nero Ultra Edition,, that is supposed to be everything in one suite of programs,,, I haven't had any problems before so this is very dissatisfying,,,
Thanks in Advance
Mr. Giles

hey I'm not trying to make enemies here,,, I just thought it was Nero related,,, first, Nero isn't getting any errors so it must be another program overriding Nero,,, do you have any other disc writing utilities,, Sonic, roxio, because they will interfere... Nero is very picky about what runs with it.... it has to be priority,,, can you open the burned CD,, and tell me what is actually written on it... just make sure it is an Mp3 disc you are making,, or if you want try to make a regular Audio cd,, and tell me if it continues,,, also don't burn to a disc right away,, make a temp file and write to it,,, and then try to play the files,,, if they don't play,, then it is something else,,, and I will have to go another way.... so let me know,,,

I am using mp3 off of peer to peer servers that work and I have used two different kinds of blank discs to record on. Where is the copy write protection coming from?
thanks
