DVD9 backup with Menushrink over 2 discs

Is it possible to backup a DVD 9 film over two discs using Menushrink (& DVD Shrink)and still keep the functionality of the menus?

Yes, it should be possible, although DVD Shrink isn't the best choice for splitting a DVD (you're better off with vobblanker). If you split a DVD you shouldn't need to shrink the menus, as there should be enough room for the menus and whatever you're keeping on each DVD-5, right?

How do I go about splitting the menus and keeping them functional?

With DVD Shrink if possible...if only because I'm comfortable with it.

You wouldn't split the menus. You would keep the same menus on both DVD-4... The reason is that it's quite tricky to remove menus entirely, and it's much much safer to keep them around (possibly disabling some of the buttons). Because you never know where the navigation will take you, and if it takes you to a menu you've removed, things can get really bad.

MenuShrink can't help you with that (at least I don't think) sorry...
