i'm not even gonna go into details about ESA, since i've never even heard of them; while on the other hand you have about a 50/50 chance of getting SCREWED with the Philips 8x dvd-r.

you could get lucky and land the MID code: FUJIFILM03..

OR

you could get UNLUCKY and land the good ole' POS MID code: CMC MAG. AE1

or if you want to bump it up further...then you could get some VERY good media with the Philips dvd-r 16x media MID code: MCC 03RG20

depends if you want to play that game...

while i don't know anything of ESA, i can imagine they might have a few decent Ritek's in the bunch, but, im guessing you're gonna get screwed with either the CMC MAG. AE1 coding or some POS princo coding

yes bought some ESA while back

returned them to Circuit City, i saw they had a sale on
a 50 pack for $6.95.

well thats how bad they are..

they are garbage and they code out as CMC MAG something

good day...........

I live in Canada.

http://www.blankmedia.ca sells genuine Taiyo Yuden media and they are quite good, so I was told a few times.

They are my next buy.

I know, people want to pay less for everthing :)
But when you see a pack of 50 DVD-R for $7.99 doesn't that tell you something ?
