burning probs!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone, im having trouble burning films onto dvd, it seems 2 all burn ok but when i go 2 view the dvd that ive just done on my pc or dvd player it says the disk is empty, so when i checked the dvd it was actually empty, ive tried time and time again but its still the same,
ive tried all kinds of software like nero etc

im burning them onto packard bell dvd+rw cds so any chance thats the problem?
id be grateful for any help on this please

Is there any chance that your burner is single format and can't burn +R blank media? I'm just guessing. We need more information on your burner and burning process.

hi

although i have used packard bell -RW and they do sort of work, but i dont recommend them! maybe +RW is better?

i used them in the early days but some players dont like RW so i just test in iso form first before burning to disc, useing Nero virtual drive.

also your software isnt set to psuedo write is it? (just tests and dont burn! also dont use multisession it leaves discs open! and open and RW combined isnt good for playing...)

thanx for the replys

ive used the packard bell cds b4, ive managed 2 copy a few films on iso format using the same dvd writer so i dunno whats up, im abit stupid when it comes 2 this stuff so bare wiv me lol
my dvd writer is a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-k14, thats all i know about it im afraid
