Worthless information.
There are a hundred free sites out there to get all of the same things that you do not have to sign up and become a member to use.

I joined Download shield years ago before i knew, It is a bunch of crap. They do not give enough information on the movies and you often get bad copies or copies in foreign languages. plus the DL's are very slow compared to other sites.

The game links are primarily from other sites, most of which you have to sign up with in order to download anything.

Agree with Stiemy. You might aswell get them off Newsgroups, much quicker and reliable. Or torrents or what ever.

I just want to try usernet and the newgroup thing out. I have heard that you can download something like 10 mgbytes per second. I still think that's just full of shit.

you can get 10 megs per second if you have a 10meg per second connection. its just the speed you usually get when downloading off websites like microsoft or whatever.

Steimy if you have a 5MEG per second connection and you are gettin 35-45kbs a second then it is a pure waste!!! Get your stuff off newsgroups, it is a connection to your ISP server so is miles faster. www.newsbin.com for more info

Hey, mirlip. How much do you pay for that and can you actually get any good off that?

You dont pay for it. And you can get whatever you want off it. PS2 games, PC games, films, books, music, pictures. Pretty much anything.

Edit, I may get round to writing a tutorial on how to use Newsbin as it is not as easy as Torrents to use. But once you have it set up, it is awesome. Steimy, with that connection of yours you could download a 4gig DVD in about 6 hours. In the mean time guys, I think there are video tutorials on the newsbin website.
