My backup will not work, I burned it using DVD Decrypter and Alcohal 120% both with no luck! (set to > iso-write mode in dvd decrypter). When I pop it in, it starts black and stays the same, besides one small white horizontal line which appears in the beginning for just half a sec or so.

Is there is special way to backup this game or just a normal one?
I have a matrix infinity mod, latest firmware and use MMORE DVD+R 4.7gb media. Any ideas?, thank you.

Is this a Imported backup?
Because many people who share games p2p convert import Pal's(not north america) to NTSC (North America)and it does not work well, this happens with killzone too. If its a North American Game cant help ya.

It's a PAL game and so is my TV so it should work, right? I will try a better dvd media like HP and post later how it went. Thanks guys.

OK Hursty no HP. Only Verbatim or ritek go4/go5. THX

The media was near bad but did work fine in the end, but I understand it could have been better. So next time, I'll keep that in mind. So here is how it worked for me.

If you have matrix infinity with the latest firmware, you might wanna turn off the Y screen fix thinggy, cuz that's why my Enthusia didn't play. So in short, if you get black screen or maybe with a small white line with your Enthusia (maybe other games to), try this. It helped me.

Now GT4 only, but I kinda have my hopes down. SO JUST BUY TWO ORIGINALS SO YOU AND YOUR BROTHER CAN PLAY SEPARATELY, WITH NO FIGHTING.

ok, i guess some of the new mod-chips automatically apply a PAL fix on-the-fly while booting games, mine doesnt, just shows black and white. unless i patch it on my computer

Well Hursty, I have been using no-name dvd's for the past year or so, (bought bulk) and have not had a single problem yet, so i guess it must be the way the disc is being burned to

if people want to use el cheapo media, then thats fine,
but dont come crying when after a few months, after the dye has faded,
the game dont work properly.
personally i use good quality media, always,
its not worth the hassle, buying cheap un-tested disk's
good quality comes a lot cheaper these days, and buying cheap rubbish,.....to me,just doesnt make sense in monetary terms
it hasnt really got anything to do with the way they are burned,as long as the speed is not "max",x4 is perfectly ok as the norm,
its to do with the quality of the disk's,and what dye they have,
you may have been lucky in your purchase,as a lot of unbranded disk's are made by reputible companies,
its hit and miss,
but i can gaurantee you this,.......i bet you more than 75 % of errors/people not getting there games to work is due to the fact they are using el cheapo media,
i dont want to repeat myself again,as i have covered this topic hundreds of times, but some people do not take good advice, and would rather save a few pence/cents buying landfill garbage

with kind regards hursty

Yeh dude, new mods apply PAL / NTSC on the fly.

LOL Hursty you sound angry. I personally think good branded disc do make sense and maybe also keep the PS lens alive for longer, anyways. Thanx for your help in the first place.

I prefer to use TYO YUDEN discs, they are the best quality.

I will have to agree with Hursty about using el cheapo discs, spend the extra cash the first time,it will save u money in the long run, lets say u rent a game and burn it,the renting costed u what $5-10. and if the media wares off the disc u have to re rent it for another $5-10.

Hey dont go el cheapo.
