Hi all,

I brought some Datawrite Yellow DVD-R 4x from www.xcopyproducts.co.uk to back up my movies and as of yet have had no problems with them. My question is this does anybody know if these are ok for backing up my console games?

Thanks

If it's the ones with the Ritek G04 Dye then they are superb for the PS2. I normally buy mine from EBuyer but they are now completely out of stock! And they're not getting any more in by the looks of it either :( :( :( :( :(

horrible things. i've had the misfortune to come across many of these - the dreaded CMC codes - ARGH!!.. Plus i've had Datawrite Yellow's with MCC codes that were just as bad - avoid at all cost.. Decent media doesn't cost much at all - ie

Verbatim Datalifeplus 8x - or + format - £7.99 inc vat for tubs of 25
or 16x - or + format - £8.48 inc vat for tubs of 25

(plus shipping, but that's £4.49 for up to 10kg so you can buy a truckload for the same £4.49). PS these aren't sale prices, just normal prices - which makes them very good value..

(TY cost more than Verb's - ie 100tub for £51.00)
