Hey, ive tried to copy my GTA: San Andreas lateley, with dvd decrypter, using the guide here at this forum... i rip the dvd, and when i am going to burn it, it all works fine.. but when i swap cd in the ps2, it just says not a valid ps2 disc...
ive wasted about 10 dvds on this crap, and it really annoys me!
the discs i use are Emtec DVD-R 4.7 GB....
the ps2 ive got is a PStwo (the slim one) with swap magic fliptop cover... i need help asap,
thanks in advance :)

I think it could be your DVD media. I only use good types such as sony and memorex. Don't use cheap and generic brands. Although some DVD brands say they can record 8x and crap, you might really only get 2x. You want the ones that record 4x only.

it most likely is your media, GTS SA will burn no problems

just try it again, and burn slow, you may have had a background process running that messed it up the first time

have you managed to get any other backups working

nope, ive tried burnout 3 about 4 times and san andreas 6-7 times... but i know what i did wrong on the 10 first discs, its just this last one who really were 100% guided all the way, and that should work... i will try again now!
thanks for the tip.
im also wondering if im gonna go to the store tomorrow and buy some dvd+r discs to test those

ive tried that... im doing some serious homework (its a really big deal, sets about 1/2 of my grade.. and im gonna return it tomorrow...) but i used 1/2 hour on burning a new dvd... and when im finished, i look at the dvd, and NOTHING is burned onto it :S
really annoying, because i wouldnt do anything when its burning so i dont ruin my disc... ill try again in some minutes...

wohooohah!
finally! i burnt the disc without doing ANYTHING else, and i figured out a problem with the swap... it seems like when i put in the Swap DVD, i have to keep the fliptop cover OPEN, so that when i am to swap the discs, i have to dont touch anything but the cd, because then will swapmagic automaticly set it self to belive that anything that is in the drive is "Not a Valid PS2 disc".
so i just have to put the cd in, and load... then i have to just put the fliptop down carefully, and voila.

thanks for the help guys :)

Never mind:
I use the slim tool, got the same problem because the "C" part is loose and doesn't stay in place...
