Can HDadvance be used like Swap Magic

Hey guys, been moding XBOXs for a while but Im still very new to the concepts of PS2 modding. I was curious (simple yes or no answer would be suffiient) is HDadvance able to be used like Swap Magic in the sence of not converting anything to the HDD but just booting and playing a Backed up DVD game.

no. Buy you can use swap magic to load a burnt copy of hdadvance.

So by using this method I could gain the added feature of being able to convert to HDD with HDadvance. The reason I ask this is that I only have 30gig and under HDDs and Im not certain if I buy and install one withing the 40-200Gig limit later.
Using this method would require me you do two swaps before being able to convert a game to HDD. Am I right or way off.

yeah, you would have to do 2 swaps to install games, but as long as you buy the newest swap magic, you only need 1 swap to load hd advance.

incase you didn't know, you are going to also need a slide card or fliptop (i recommend the fliptop).

yup getting a slide card with my purchase of Swap Magic and will probably get a flip top case
depending on how frustrated I get with the slide card lol
