i am getting a error data (recycling redundancy error) message when dvd shring and dvd decrypter while i am trying to backk up shrek 2. need expert help please

CRC erros 99% of the time are caused by the disk, either it is dirty, scratched, smudge or has some imperfection in the disk. Try cleaning and ripping to your hardrive with Decrypter and then use Shrink. If this does not work take the disk back and get another original.

that is what i figured, but wanted to make sure it did the same thing with dvd decryter. i sent it back luckily shrek 2 is playing on cable so i used dvr for my kid but thank u.
