You might want to use DVD Decrypter. I thought that movie was not coming out until May 24, 2005?

I got it last night. It's a sony DVD so it's got the same protection as Resident Evil. Just use DVD Decrypter on it first and then shrink it. Worked for me!!!

k this is weird. ok i just downloaded the new versions of DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink. I also downloaded a free trial version of any dvd so it can bypass the encryption to this movie that i have. I am trying to burn this "are we there yet." However, i have it in my Hard drive already. Just the movie not the extras and stuff. I reauthored it thru DVD Shrink. Now was burning it with the decrypter at 4x write speed with my dynex 8x dvd+r and it was going fine. Until about 54% into it comes up a box saying: Failed to read from file Are_we_there_yet.iso Reason: Data Error(Cyclic redundancy check). And then goes into finish mode with the decrypter and says "OH NO." ALso this is the 2nd time that i have done this and lost 2 dvd+r's in doing so.. Any recommendtion? Maybe its the decrypter b/c the shrink work fine. Does anybody know where i can get free burning software? Maybe i should try another burning software? thx...

it will play at 200 miles a hour in your dvd player, the new sony disk is copy audio protected to a limited degree, but you can get it off and play in backup. thank you

I think the version you have of AnyDVD is a beta (meaning it still have bugs in it).Try this version 5.1.1.1 AnyDVD. Or go to www.slysoft.com and check it out.I browsed at our forums and read the new update isn't that great.I have version 4.6.3.1 and there is no need to upgrade.I burned the movie Are we there yet?/boogeyman both from sony revolutions and very satisfied!I hope thsi helps you out!Or private message me!

O.k. I am going to just get straight to the point. I am having problems with Are We There Yet also. I have the updated version of DVD Decrypter and try to rip it into my hard drive and it's a no go. I have the updated version of AnyDVD 5.1.1.1 and upgraded it to 5.1.2.1 along with CloneDVD 2.8.2.1 I am doing everything I am seeing on this page and still no luck. Now I am seeing upgrade to any dvd 4.6.3.1 which that would actually downgrade instead of upgrade which I have tried that also and still no luck. Maybe I am no understand all of this right. I need it broken down what version of AnyDVD to use along with what version of clone dvd to use. I remember I had this same problem with Resident Evil and when I got the latest upgrade of CloneDVD and AnyDVD it was o.k. and worked like a charm. Can anybody help me out because I am pretty sure it is other people that are having the same issues so I am hoping I covered all of the questions that I need along with hopefully helping out others who are still having problems. Hopefully we can get more success stories because so far I have only seen about 4 people successful on this backup like mobfather and 190014, Thanks!

I have the newest AnyDVD, DVD Decryptor, and DVD Shrink and can not rip to hard drive or DVD. I get errors on two of the main VOB files. If I do a straight Windows Explorer copy to my HDD, get a CRC error on the same VOB files. I tried ripping and decrypting from my Pioneer DVD-ROM (which I have never had an issue with before, even proteted DVDs) and my Sony DVD burner. Same errors on the same files. You think the disc is bad? I haven't actually tried to watch the movie straight through yet.

Sounds like you have a bad disc. I used AnyDVD w/ Nero Recode. No problems. Try cleaning the disc and try again w/ Decrypter or AnyDVD. You can also try Decrypter with the option of 'ignore read' errors' clicked on. If that doesn't do it you will need to exchange it.
Also it may play fine on your standalone but your burner is not as forgiving and will pick up any errors.
