can anyone help me out? I've been trying to backup my DMC3 but I keep getting hung up using both Nero and DVD Decryptor! With dvd decryptor I get about 58% into the ISO and I start getting read errors and it hangs up! With Nero it wont even start writing using the on the fly method. Can I just burn an image file with nero then burn it to disc?

where did u get hang up? is it during the extracting process? or the burning process. if it is the extracting process, it simply means your original dvd is screwed up, u need to get another 1. if it is during the burning process, you simply burning your game at a high speed (4x, or 8x). Some dvd writer will give out an error if you burn something at very fast speed. WRitting at 1x-2x is always recommended.

Hi
It must be a scratch on the disc that is giving the problem, i always use my DVD rom for reading, because my writer a NEC 2500a can be very sensitive when reading discs where as the dvd rom can be more forgiving. Try reading the disc on different drives if you have this option
