I have original SM 2.0 discs and am able to boot SM 3.0 just fine off something I burned from shareaza. However the last TEN 3.3 downloads are invalid! Either somehow everyone got a bad copy and is sharing it or I am doing something wrong. When I go to make a DVD backup in CloneCD or DVD it says the blahblah.sub doesn't match the blahblah.img file. When I load it in DVD decrypter it says invalid first header size or something. Then when I use Alcohol 120% it sits there "waiting for media" when the empty DVD is sitting right in the drive!! RAAWWWRRR!!! There was another version of this file I got that made one of these programs (I think Alcohol 120) say that I couldn't burn the file unless I had overburn enabled and I needed like 928GB of space!? Anyways, sounds like a bogus file but over a dozen people have it and there doesn't seem to be an alternative so I'm stumped... please help!

By the way I need this because Timesplitters doesn't appear to work with Cogswap or DVDloader and I have SM 2.0

PS2: older USA model (~3 yrs old, 8 screw)
Burner: LITEON DVDRW SOHW-1673S
Media: 8x Maxell (002) DVD +R (6x/8x ONLY!)
Burn Speed: 8x
Software: SM 2.0 & DVD Decrypter

Buy new swap magic disks and support them,
So they continue to update and make new ones.
It would suck if they stopped making and supporting them right?
Since your using ver 2.0 dont you feel its time for an update?
Always trying to get something for nuttin.

You're missing my point entirely Hursty. I don't need help booting 3.3 from 2.0. If I had a proper 3.3 image I would be fine. I am only in need of a good source to get 3.3 from or an explanation why why all the Shareaza users have this strange file and if I'm doing something wrong with it. Read my post, I was quite thorough in describing this odd file.

*update* I just tried another one that was an .iso file, but when loaded by DVD decrypter it said invalid image format. ANOTHER BS FILE?!?! gosh...

you cant make backups of SM disks and if you could what would be the point? its a copy!! it wont read!!! unless of course you're booting it with SM 2.0 but still the SM disks are impossible to copy because of the way they are pressed originally...

Why is this so hard to understand.
You cant copy swap magic disks.
Look at all the rings on the bottom,
It is special and cant be copied.

Also your last post was rude and unneeded,
And because of that I WILL NEVER respond to ANY
iof your posts again.

And i reported you also.

Have a nice day :)
