There are dvds made by "Great quality"
That is the brand name.
Are these good quality disks or not?

Fry's brand GQ? Their cds match Maxell quality. I don't feel the same for their dvd media. I wouldn't waste my time with them with Ritek media being as cheap or cheaper.

I think ritek discs are so cheap because so many ppl buy them. If you study economic 2106, u should know the more a product sells, the profits goes up but the cost also go down, which causes the price of theproduct goes down. I wouldn't suggest any brand at all. But if you find a brand that works with your PS2, stick with it. I bought a 25pack of Maxell DVD-R, media code MXl-03 and my game wont boot at all. I wonder if Taiyo Yunden will do the same thing? SO now i stick with Ritek go4 and that's it.

I bought some "Great Quality" RW disks.
When I put them in the PC, It seems as if it is a blank dvd, with all the chapters and stuff, but they play nothing.
When i try to burn the dvds, it says they need to be formated, and nothing happens when I tell it to format them.
I would not recommend these disks
