Can someone please help me. I read that kid, uhhh, Rusty#2's thread and he had the same problem as me but since he was rude to other people, no one really answered his question. I cleaned my disc and my laser lens and then tried both methods and I get error messages every time. Can I do something different or, what. Please help me, I'm ignorant. :)

You need to re-build it and/or use cd or dvd loader to refresh the TOC.

OK, I won't, seeing as how he was kind of a jerk. But, see, I get the problems when DVD Decryptor is trying to read the file. So, since hat isn't working, could you tell me how to rebuild it. I really appreciate it man. I've read some of the other threads you posted on and I saw that you really helped the other people...and thankz again for your help. :P

If dvd decypter is having problems (or errors) READING the disk.
It means the disk is scratched or dirty and/or your laser is dirty.
You should NEVER have errors reading an original using DVD Decrypter.
(reason is there is no encyption on ANY ps2 media.)

As far as rebuilding i will post a link below.

Going by the compiled list its listed as working.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/176791

here is the rebuilding thread but from what I read it doesnt need
to be re-built Just burned well and refreshed with dvd-loader.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/127255

I dont have that game specifically but here's how i backup 95%
of all my games.

Use good media.
I use verbatim (MCC) and/or fujifilm (YUDEN) +r

***** BURN AT NO MORE THAN 2X****** <-----------(IMPORTANT)
TURN OFF ANY BACKGROUND APPLICATIONS

1. Take the ps2 game put it in the dvd rom or dvd burner, your choice.

2. open the dvd decryptor program then go to to tool bar and hit MODE>ISO>READ. Then choose the correct dvd drive that the game is in as the "source". Also choose where you want the files to be stored on the pc hdd. THEN CLICK DECRYPT , or the huge graphical picture at the bottom of the program which makes it run. The game is now copying to your HDD. Take the game out when finished (it might take a while).

3. Go to the same tab in dvd decryptor and choose MODE>ISO>WRITE. This will then let you look for the files you just created in step 2. Select the file that you just created. (There is only 2 files creadted so pick the .mds) (The smaller file)Then click WRITE, make sure there is blank DVD in the drive.

There good for movies and Data but not the BEST for ps2.

As you have seen in the above picture I use Verbatim +r and/or Fujifilm +r
There is a program called DVD Identifier it is free and available here
http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
Its the 'MEDIA ID' that is important not who brands it.
Here is a list that ranks the media by ID.

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

The following list is in preference order.

MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TDKG02 = TDK Corp = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

@-'Berty642'~

Go to the testing thread. And start your own post.
(Its not nice to hi-jack other peoples thread.)
All you have to do is insert the [ img ] tag (without the spaces)
Using your link at the bottom it should look like this
(WITHOUT THE SPACES).
[ img ]http://www.megagames.com/news/images/cnstxdrvrgmmjsc_l1.jpg[ /img ]
and it will show you this
THIS PICTURE IS TOO BIG FOR YOUR SIG
You need to edit it and re-host at photobucket.com
