I just burned a game, and i don't have a mod chip or the game genie, i know how to swap cd's in the ps2, and i was wondering if there is a way to play it without the mod chip or game genie

PS2 games are actually pressed DVD/CD discs, they are not burned. PS2 games use the Burst Cutting Area (BCA) of the disc to identify themselves to the PS2 unit. The BCA is not part of a disc that you can burn on, it is only replicated on pressed discs.

So, the only way to play backups is to get boot-discs or a mod-chip.

With the boot-discs (swap magic) you need a 'tool' to open
the tray without pressing eject for the backups to work.

I use dvd decrypter on good media (verbatim or fujifilm +r)
And burn at 2x speed.

Sorry for doing this its just so dam hard to find these items in australia unless its an american site which i dont want to by off of. And where i live its even harder to get things. I just wanted to know where i could get a mod chip or swap magic from an Australian site for a fairly good price.
