i have found VERY few members that will agree that optodisc is even barely a DECENT manufacturer, let alone a good one, they are sub-par at best in my opinion, right there w/ memorex and princo. it really depends on your personal setup, while i HAVE used a few of these in the past, they no longer play on anything.

i have gone on and on about linkyo media in many other posts here in the dvd-media forum, so, even though a FEW members have had no problems with them, i definitely HAVE had problems...mainly due to the fact that the dvd-r format for those linkyo's are FAKE TY coded made in taiwan, they have horrible scans when i check them after the burn.

so, to answer your question and to possibly save yourself some grief, NO, they are not good for dvds. yes, i know they are unbelievably inexpensive right now and supermediastore ALWAYS has a coupon code for them, but, please do yourself a favor and use GOOD media as i have in my sig. save yourself the headache and frustration down the road when you realize that you saved a couple of dollars "back in the days" and find out NOTHING works anymore.

Although a lot of people think so in actual fact some of the worst types of media only work for some people.I'm one who can use princo reasonably well even though they are cheap and nasty, but i normally use Ty OR RITEKS.

there are exceptions to EVERY rule in dvd-media, you are just one of the "lucky" ones buddy~ i've had nothing but coaster after coaster when i used to use princo and optodisc and naturally my fav. media bashing brand, memorex~ what works for some will NOT work for others and vice versa~ :)

@merr: why dont u ship those memorex to me. I am still using it and work fine for me ;-)

@dusX: I cant use Nero 6 to burn the Linkyo but my friend is succesful with them by using NTI software. I'll try anther program again to see if Linkyo is not work Nero. Will update my finding as soon I try it.

LiquidusX & na_tra, it's you're money and your choice, but i wouldn't do it. Have a go at PI/PIF scanning your media - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/193298#1038892

no sound for you mort81 :) a mobile is more of a centerpiece that draws attention to it, with no other real purpose than being there for aesthetic purposes, a WIND CHIME on the other hand makes noise and blows with the wind to produce nice sounds to the ear~ :)

just a clarification on MY part mort81 :) good day to you buddy`
