i need to repair it... is there any doc about how to change it and any store in canada where i canmaybe buy it from ?

i think unless you live in a big city with alot of computer stores and other stores like that, than you gonna have to go on the net. you can usually just search google.com for a laser, make sure you type in your version of ps2 though...just to make sure you get the right laser (if there is one for different versions of the ps2). then, usually, just search google.com again for a guide on how to put the laser in yourself, if you feel comfortable....i modded my ps2 all by myself....and i did it when i was 14...anyway, or you could send it off to Sony, for a hefty price of about $120, and that doesn't include the shippping.....
