Hi, does anyne here know how to format a DVD+RW disc. As i canot use this until i have formatted it. Thanks very much

all depends on what software you use. I for instance use Nero, so i click on Recorder/Erase Writable Disc/Full erase rewritable disc. I'm sure all burning progs are the same difference.

Maybe next time you start a post, put something meaningful in title so it stands out properly. It'll make your life and others', easier too

Thanks mate. Although i now have another problem, when I take your advice and try what u said it comes up with 'this is an illegal disc' and automatically cancels. I have no idea why tho as i baught these from a supermaket yesterday! maybe it's the Nero which i downloaded?? Help pls...

Sounds like your burner does not like your media, think you need to buy from a better place than the supermarket. What kind of burner do you have, what brand of disk are using, and have you updated your firmware lately? You need to give more information when you post.
