dvddecrypter not burning?

i used dvddecrypter about year ago to back up some games and worked like a charm but i am trying to backup some games now and the files goto hd no problem but when i goto burn them i keep getting errors i tried burning the game with nero as well and still got error can some one help me????

What games are you trying to back up, and what error messages are you getting. It may be that the games you are now copying are dual layer and as such too big to fit onto the media. If so you will need to rebuild the image, but I have never done that so can't help with it. It should just be mode ISO read then ISO write with DVD drive as fianl destination. Have you tried to make another copy of one of the games you successfully backed up before?

Yeah more info would help. Like what kind of mod does your PS2 have. Modchip, using Swap Magic and slidecard?
What type of media (discs) are you burning them on?(brand and + or -R)
What version is your PS2?
Have you updated to the latest version of DVD Decrypter?

I use it all the time and it works great.

well my new lg dvd burner died :(

i tested in another machine and put other burner into this machine and found the bu=rner to be dead

Go out and get yourself a Sony DRU-710A
It is a bit more costly then some other burners, but i have been using the DRU-700A. last years model, for a while now with GREAT success. It will burn any kind of disc you could want to burn including dual layer.

wow that sux. Id suggest not bothering with dvd burners tho you can get a 120gb hd western digital that will work perfectly for about $120. I got it today!!! And I LOVE IT

messup000, that is if he has an older PS2
If he has the slim PSTwo that will do him no good.
And burning discs with a burner you have a 100% success rate with it being compatible with your PS2. Even if it requires patching or rebuilding, when you are done it will work.
Not the same as when you use a HD with HD Loader or HD Advance.
Lots of people have problems with game compatibility with an HD

well i just got a slim line ps2 and got the swap magic disk with the switch today. well i was using a 16x lg duallayer burner and it died in a couple months but i have an old pioneer a06 that have been running for about 19-20 months now and burned over 4000 disks with it in that time and she still going ...... its only an old 4x but hey i only backup the games at 1x anyhow it will do until i replace this warranty with the next junker lol ...... i do have a spare 120 gb mhd i could do but have to get a usb external setup if i do try that later on

usb advanced i was talking about... but anyway yea i heard of the big list of non compatible games for hdloader but usbadvance seems to be a little better in that sence. I only have had a problem with one game and that was alien hominoid but i think that was me not the game. not patient enough... but its still worth it not to buy media anymore.
