what is , in anybodys opinion the best and simplest avi/any type of file converter to dvd, that is free to download.Help help help.Also where can i download it. Thanks to all you geniuses out there

Here's the free way to do it... http://www.vso-software.fr/

download only the free conversion program, and run your AVIs' through it.
By default this program creates a dvxtodvd sub folder in your My Documents folder.

I use DVDshink (also free) to access this folder, and with a shink/nero combination burn them to DVD.
