Does anyone know of a good web site that lists the best media on DVDs? I have a sony DVD burner so will it be best to by Sony DVD's? Also, which is better? DVD-R or DVD+R?

Welcome to the forum. This topic has been discussed numerous times before. ( - or + ) media depends on your burner and on your DVD Player as some player play - and some play + and some play both. If you have an older player then probably the - is better for you. The advantage of the + media is that w/ certain burner you can trick ( bitset the blank media) the DVD Player into thinking the disk is a DVD-Rom disk so it usually will play in more machines.
You can use Sony disk but I recommend Verbatim or Taiyo Yudens. You can find them at Newegg.com, Rima.com, Meritline.com. Call up the internet stores before you order and tell them what you are doing and they will assist you in getting the correct disks. Make sure that they will let you return the disks if there is a problem w/ them. Most of the reputable sites do that
