I am trying to use Decrypter for the first time and have some issues. I am able to rip the dvd, but when I try to write the file to a DVD, the source file is empty. It should be in C/Aviator/video_ts. When I click the video_ts file there is nothing there? Am I missing a step? I have tried reading Doom9 guide, but cannot figure it out. Also, if I were to try to burn with Nero, what file would I be looking for? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

I just finished successfully ripping Aviator.

Try this guide. Its a flash step by step showing settings
for dvd decrypter in file mode ( I use file mode myself but lots here use iso or other)

Then use the DVD Shrink guide there to make it fit on one disk.

LivnDGirl hey there do you only used decrypter when backing up your own movies or you used decrypter 1st then burn it with shrink?

@postie: It sounds like maybe you put the ripped movie somewhere else on your hard drive. I've done that plenty of times before. You could do a search for *.VOB and that will come up with all your dvd files.

I finished the Aviator last night. Ripped with DVD Decrypter in 'File' mode, reauthored 'Main Movie' only in DVD Shrink, and burned .ISO image with DVD Decrypter. Whole process only took about 35 minutes.
I always add a new folder to my desktop for each new burn titled after the movie. Place my files there and then bring them up in Shrink. This way there is no guess work where you put them.
