I have the movie 'The Incredibles', the problem is that I tried to back up the movie as data files. The problem I am having is that the movie was made in three different languages and that it skips in between the scenes several times during the movie. Where ever there is text, such as a sign or a newspaper, the scene would repeat itself in each of the languages. This is very irritating. I thought I would be creative and try to manually edit the files. What I found is that it may take YEARS!!!

I was wondering if there is some kind of program that searches video files for areas that repeat themselves and automatically deletes them. Pain in the butt this is.

This sounds like a low or crap media issue to me. What blank media are you using? Is it high quality such as TY/Fuji, Maxell, Verbatim, Sony and TDK? If not, then you need to get some, and if so then what burning speeds are you using to back up? How old is your stand alone dvd player? If it's somewhere from 2 years and older, then "please" burn at 2X only and no higher than 4X. What burning program did you used to do your back up copy? Perhaps, you may want to use the latest from DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter -- they should be able to handle the job easily. I did mine and it's working flawlessly.

Again, try it with a new high quality blank (FUJI and Verbatim are my choice, make sure it says "MADE IN JAPAN or SINGAPORE") and decrypt with DVD Decrypter to your HD, then Shrink it with DVD Shrink to fit your dvd-r/+r blank and back up with DVD Decrypter. Hopefully this method will make you a happy camper.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
