First off sorry if I am in the wrong area to post this. I am a newbie and have searched the boards for an hour before posting this.

Is what I would like to do is take a clip from some of the video games that I have recorded to a dvd and them put on the web so I can have friends see them. Thanks you in advance for any help given.

You need help making the clip, or finding a site to host it? For hosting vids you can use www.putfile.com .

Ya,how do I take a clip that I want from a dvd....a 30 sec piece, then load it on www.putfile.com so I can veiw it on the web?

You can try DVD2AVI, not sure what format you want to host it in.
Here's the site for it, also not sure if the trial version has full features:

Basically however you want to convert it use the search on here, or google it if needed. If you want your file to be .wmv, do a search for "dvd to wmv" , you might have to change some of the search options to get more results, like under search for: change it to "all these words" or not older than: "all". Not to sound like I'm passing you off, but it's ALOT quicker than waiting for reply's. Plus half the time it's already been covered extensivly before.
