Open up "Nero Express"
on Nero Express 6, click "Copy Entire Disc" or (on the top drop down arrow, click on "DVD," Copy DVD on "Copy and Back Up image.)
Now you should see an "Options" on the right, next to the "Source Drive & Destination Drive", click on "Options"
Under "Book Type Settings" you should be able to change to "DVD-ROM" or "Automatic" and click "OK" to change or accept. That's it you're done. Sometimes I just leave it on "Automatic" which Nero automatically change the book type to DVD-ROM when it starts to burn or back up. But if you like yours set to DVD-ROM, then just click on DVD-ROM under "Book Type Settings"

Hey, is it possible to not have a dvd burner capable with this option.
Cause i dont think mine is.
And, your little guide explains doing it when copying a disc. What if i have converted an AVI file, using nerovision, and wanting to burn it to dvd with Nero express ( As what i do noarmally ) what do i do to change the book type den? Same thing?
There are some burners that cannot change booktype. You cannot change booktype on DVD-R discs.
If your burner supports changing booktype, it is possible to have every DVD+R disc burned to be booktyped DVD-ROM by saving your selection in the burners firmware. Use Nero CD-DVD Speed that comes with Nero tools or download it from http://www.cdspeed2000.com In the bitsetting options, you can choose your preference. If that doesn't work, try using DVD Decrypter to save your selection.
What model burner are you trying to do this on? I have an Nec 3500AG which with "stock" firmware does not allow bitsetting, after flashing new "hacked" firmware I am able to.

Hey guys, i got a nec ND3520 i want to change the boot type, i try with Nero but it won't let me, how can i do it with DVD Decrypter? i have retail firmware.
In order to booktype dvd+r single layer media to dvd-rom with your NEC you will need to flash it with some hacked bitsetting firmware then you can use dvd decrypter or dvdinfopro to set booktype to dvd-rom. Here's a link to some f/w. http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/3520/
With some hacked f/w your NEC will automatically booktype dvd+r media to dvd-rom. You can check this or verify with dvd identifier along with many other utilities.
